Having an iPhone is a feeling that only iPhone users can understand. While you don't have to do much other than holding an iPhone in your hands to look classier, you certainly need some tips and tricks to make using an iPhone easier, because let's admit, we all have been a bit jealous of the customization that Android and Windows users sometimes boast of.
Therefore, here are some hacks especially for the iPhone users, so that you start loving your iPhones ever more.
1. To open the last-closed tap in Safari, tap on Tabs icon and hold the + sign that pops in the middle. Choose the tab that you want to open from the history.
2. For Assistive Touch, go to Settings, Accessibility, and find it under Interaction. Enabling it would bring up some shortcuts and it would also have a Home button for when the physical one is damaged.
3. To enable the zoom lens, go to Settings, choose Accessibility, and click on Zoom. You have the option of selecting the Zoom Region and the Maximum Zoom Level. Now double tapping the screen with three fingers would bring up the magnifier.
4. To child-lock your cell, go to Accessibility and look for Guided Access. By turning it on, you open yourself the gates to parental guidance. All you need to do is to triple-click the Home button and draw circles around the options that you don't want kids to go to.
5. For incognito mode in Safari, choose the Tabs icon, then Private, and there would be no history for someone to know what you have been surfing the internet for.
6. For voice controls in iMessages, email, books, and webpages, go to Accessibility under Settings, click on Speech and select Speak Screen. When you want your cell to read things out, swipe downwards with two fingers and you are good to go.
7. To know the meaning of a specific word, highlight it, then tap on it and select Define. The meaning would float right on your screen. However, this feature is specific to iOS 8.
